Lil’ Stinkies is a frame-by-frame animation project that honestly I didn’t originally intend to be frame-by-frame.

Normally, I’m an After Effects girl but I started with frame-by-frame in Procreate to plan out the movement (way more complicated than it looks) and ended up liking that better than the smooth and eased AE render. It had been a while since I’d animated – and ended up spending more time than I intended on the project. Anyways, I still enjoyed the process and do like the end result.

This piece was an ode to my fascination with vintage packaging, as well as a reference to one of my favorite bands; the Beastie Boys. (“Hello Nasty” album cover, if you aren’t super versed)
